this is a 91 civic 4 door lx.

the car has no power at all, nothing. headlights, radio, starter. nothing at all. just got a new alt and battery on it. fuses under the hood were all good. any ideas ?

 

did you check the main fuse(s) in the block under the hood?

also check to make sure all ground straps are in place

 

main fuses under the hood are all good.

i know hte battery and valve cover grounds are good. ill check the thermostat ground

 

Check to make sure the negative cable is properly grounded.

I was going to say the 50a ignition fuse but since the headlights arent working either I guess that's out.

 

ignition fuse, is that in the fuse box under the hood? if so all the fuses under there were good.

but i gotta go check out the headlight part because the info i got was from a girl so maybe she was just agreeing with what i asked her. it might be just ignition things not working

it was working fine before, then it had starting problems, and now no power at all
