Wiring OEM door lock switch to aftermarket power door locks

Default Wiring OEM door lock switch to aftermarket power door locks

well im doing a power window and power door lock conversion. The windows are OEM but hte door locks are after market. is there a way to hook up the aftermarket door locks to the oem door lock swtich>?

yup. find the neg. triggers (one locks one unlocks) the oem switch supplys, then just tap it to the relay triggers from your alarm neg. triggers (green wire and red wire leading to 2 relays). asuming that your after market door locks are using an alarm. if not then just wire up 2 relays to the motors. i hope this answered your question.

i forgot your gonna have to find the other wire of the lock and unlock switch and ground them in order to complete the circut to trigger the relays. just use a multi meter and listen for the beeps. if you dont catch what im saying then bring it to any stereo security shop and theyll be able to do it cheeper than a mecanics shop.
