ok here is the problem and whats going on:
i have a 1990 honda accord with no mods except and intake and muffler. while i am driving, the RPMs suddenly jump. sometimes they jump around 4-500 RPMs and sometimes alot more (2-3000.) Also, sometimes (alot more than usual latly,) the car stalls out. it always starts back up and all but it has been goin on for a while now. if anyone has experienced the same problem or knows what it is, please let me know. also, i have recently replaced the Ignition Module and it seemed to fix it but then it started again after like a week. pllleeaaasseee help if you have any info it is very annoying and can not figgure it out.

I would say maybe take a look at the dist. cap, plugs and plug wires.

 

do your voltage/resistance checks on the ignition control module again. did you place electrical grease on the spade terminals that connect to the icm? were you sure the connectors were tight on the icm. the reason i say check the icm again is because i had the same problem... replaced the icm and fixed the problem for about a week, same symptoms returned, checked it and concluded the icm was again at fault. replaced week old icm with another, more expensive brand and the problem has not returned since...

 

well i will check all of that again and all but thank you all for the help. what was the brand of ICM that you put in? where did you get it? the one i got was used i bought for like $10 at a you pull it. if anyone else has any more info, please help

i dont know the exact brand but it was pretty expensive, i remember it being like a nascar endorsed brand because it had nascar logos all over the box...
the brands they stock at kragen and autozone are in the 75-90 dollar range if i remember correctley, and the good one i bought was from pep boys and it cost around 180...

 

the only think with that is if i buy one for 100 dollars, is it going to go bad agian? what caused 2 to go bad in a matter of a month or whatever the time period was?
