Ok my CRX has had problems with the battery dying after a few days. My alternator is good. Battery is new. I put a test light today. The light barely light up and was blinking. I proceeded to pull one fuse at a time out of the fuse box. It turned out that something from the Cig Lighter,Clock Fuse circut is draining it. I decided to leave the fuse out since I know its something off that circut. Now when I turned my car on the Door Ajar light would flicker as well as the clock. Also when I turn my turn signal on when the green arrow inside would flash and when it would flash off the door ajar would blink on. Anyways anyone ever have this problem? Can anyone post up a wiring diagram for the circut that the cig lighter,clock fuse runs on? I cant find my manual so Im kinda screwed.

 

80% of the time its a corroded ground...also check under the dash that all plugs are connected....i dont know if u would find if anything if u checked that the plugs from inside of the doors to the c pillar are connected fine...but try it.

 

You mean the the door ajar/light switches on the jamb/B pillar? That does sound like a good place to start. Thanks for replying

 

ya sorry for the late reply...ya thats what i meant...even minor switches and sources like that still cause trouble if something is shorted or beginning to ...just one more place to check ..hope it helps
