1981 Honda CM400
What can anyone tell me about these/
A friend of mine bought one for $500 and is now moving to a place where he can not keep it. So he is giving it to me for FREE!!!!!
It needs to be inspected, but should pass. The bike was very well maintained from the first owner. It is good shape couple dings here and there.
I think i am just going to turn it in to a little winter project. Clean it up maybe repaint it.
Somewhat looks like this. It is black and blue with gold accents

If you are that worried about it, I could always take it off your hands!! A guy I work with has one of these I think, it could be a rebel, but he completely re-did it and it looks really really nice, sounds even better with a Kerker exhaust.
Seriously though, I would buy it off of you for like 100 bucks.

If by this you are talking the automatic transmissions. Then no this one is manual. From what I read the CM400A's were the Hondamatic's.
This one is a CM400C(custom) not real sure on the difference.

I let him know. I told him i was goign to give him 100 for it anyway. If he wasnts to and you really want it. Just pay 100 and the title transfer. I am helping him move tuesday so I will know then.
I see you are in Pottstown. Depending where you are at its only like 35 minutes away.
