i am a new delsol owner but not a new honda builder and i am wondering if an AXEL back EG or EK exhaust will bolt up in place of a delsol rear section?

i am currently running a magnaflow catback system and the resonator has been removed but i am looking for a straight pipe exit and wwould prefer to use somthing that will complement the car and sound less raspy on this 1.6 sohc sewing machine motor.

has anyone actually bolted up anyother bolt on exits to the delsol. i am not intrested in welding or taking it to have it welded..simply intrested in changing my sound via a new bolt on section.

they do look similar so i am hoping this is another parts bin item.

 

the eg's axle back is the same i dont know about the ek. i have a spoon axle back on mine. there both still eg's.

 

sick! that's what i assumed but i wanted a first hand answer... VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!

 

a del sol axle back is not the same as an eg coupe/hatch. the hangers are different. nothing a local muffler shop cant handle. cut and weld

 

what is the diffrence?
