My car looks kinda ghetto on bare steelies...though maybe less likely to be stolen

Have you seen the wheel covers yet? Most aftermarket wheel covers do not attach with the lug nuts, which means that the wheel covers have nothing to do with what lug nuts you use.
However, make sure the seating area of your lug nuts is the same shape as the seating area of your wheels. (The seating area is the area where the two pieces are in contact with each other.) Steel wheels may have a ball (acorn) shaped seating area, like stock Honda/Acura wheels, or they may have a tapered (conical) shaped seating area, like aftermarket wheels. Whichever they have, make sure you use lug nuts to match.
If you need to buy more lug nuts, aftermarket ones are only around $1-2 each ($1.19 at Autozone) and you can get either kind.

Yup - that's the correct answer. (I just found out about this myself.)
