hey all, generally, when you test a coils voltage with the engine rolling over what should be coming out?

higher then most voltage meters can read....ranges from around 25,000 to 50,000+ depending on coil

yeah, dont touch the coil wire when the engines running either... ouch

 

makes sense, my voltmeter only reads battery voltage at the coil, like 11 volts

 

but it still managed to shock me so I may be reading it wrong because normal battery posts dont shock me
