Default 98 Accord LX Check Engine Light

I am trying to avoid spending tons of $$$$ at the dealer. What are some possibilities for the Check Engine Light staying on. I have tried the whole gas cap thing, with no luck. I am thinking that maybe I have an emissions sensor gone bad, but not really Honda Mechanically savy. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Vehicle has 141K Miles on it.

Thanks..........

There are two many possibilities to count. You need to get the codes from the computer. If you can't get it to blink the codes, take it to autozone and they will get them for you. Bring the number back and post it. wouldn't advise buying autozone parts.
