Default Thinking about buying an Acura

Hello all, noob here. I currently have a 86 Nissan 300zx turbo, and it is giving me more problems than I have money for, so, I am looking at other cars to buy. I have always liked the Integra-style body's.

I am more of a compact, 2 door, type person, and I have not researched much for those type cars, but my price range is about 3k. I am not a big honda fan. I like the Prelude models a bit though.

I suppose I am asking for a list of cars, that are good for my situation. I drive 40 miles almost every day, so I am looking for a daily driver......It is very hard for me to stray from Nissan...or any v6 turbo, but I must. Also, I got killed by an Integra...at least I thought it was an Integra, and since then, I have wanted to have the power, and sexy body style of a newer model. If my price range is too low, then how much should I save up? Also, how much do upgrades range? Will I be able to get into the 300-400- Hp range, and still be alright with gas milage?

I just want a newer car, the one I have is in poor condition, I just bought it because of the tuuuurrrboooo

Anyway, any help is appreciated, any flamming is welcome.

Thanks

-Jaylynn

Also, will a V6 fit in an Integra? a turbo'ed v6. If there are links that help me out, I would appreciate those as well.

I think you're in the wrong section of the forum. And with 3K, you should be heading to the Integra (non Type-R) section.

But to answer your question, with 3K you can get:

91-96 Integra with high mileage.
93-98 Honda Civic

That's all I can think of. Oh and a CRX.

And with that price, I don't know if you enough to mod the car.

Edit:
price range:
$3k.
91-93 Integra, old model.
92-96 Honda Civic.

$3K-8K
Get a 94-2001 Integra LS if you want to boost, or GSR for stock form.

And if you want that much of Horse, it'll run ya an extra 4-7K.

great

all we need is another street racing junky who wants to throw a v6 into an integra.

i hear them v6's dont fit well, but v8's due to their affinity towards the vtech, do.
