as promised and requested ... here are some pics, of my recovery from my recent operation, of my boredom, and a couple of my bike as it stands right now.


first off, here is my bike. just got the front end off and the new clip ons and controls put on. Turns out i'm going to need a new radiator and fan, so i'm going to hold off on putting the forks and all that on.


another angle .. and you can see my SUPER expensive and JDM front stand haha ... it consists of a cheap drawer with a sandbag on top of it. My roommates (ImportHatch) bagged Lincoln and my Si in the background.


here is what was removed from my fibula. i'm glad to have it out .. but, it hurts like hell. Its super shiney and pretty damn strong. I couldn't join the ARMY because of this piece of metal ...


what help me pass my boredom! haha. i think the red sticker says dont mix with alcohol .. i'm runnin low on the Vicodin, hopefully they'll prescribe me another bottle!


my bandage started falling off (was put on on the 14th at the hospital), as it's been on 5 days, so i decided to change it. Wow, blood soaked through almost a half inch of different types of bandages?


hmm ... looks fresh. it's been bleeding for 5 days (and still is bleeding, these pics were taken last night). that white piece of gauze was kind of stuck to my wound .. didn't feel good pulling it off


and last but not least, the wound itself. Not as bad as it would seem ... although it hurts pretty freakin bad and is still bleeding.

Other then that, still working on my lawsuit and out of work for a few weeks. I have to take it easy on my ankle for a few weeks as i can fracture the (6) screws holes .. and after that, i should be done with operations and trips to the hospital!

that is officially a man wound.

good luck on a speedy recovery. u need one of those little snap on wheeled chairs so u can wheel around and work on your bike.

 

next time dont pull it off if its sticking you could break a scab and start to bleed if its sticking pour some water on the gauze and it will come right off

 

Glad to see you over for the UFC fight last night man, still walking funny and no i see why, lol. glad to see your making progress on the bike, finish yours up and then lets get mine done, lol.

trust me, i have been. I even made it to the gym yesterday.. i wont be at work until the first week of december ... so that means no moolah.

I was doing some figures for my lawsuit, and so far my medical bills are $47k, not including this last surgery, which with all the follow ups and everything else, will probably be $10k.

As for my lawsuit, it hasn't gone anywhere yet. I just finishished a huuuuuge packet of questions that i had to fill out for the other party (some big fancy name for the questions, can't remember what they're called) ... and playing the waiting game.

 

I hope you recover soon and good as new. As for the lawsuit, it'll be a while. I still have one open pending from a car accident in 02.
