What would you buy for $21,000
I have had my 01 GSR for about a month and half now. I love the car and still enjoy driving it and everything, but with the thought the I threw down $21,000 for it, it makes me think that I could have gotten something better. What are your thoughts??? Ummmmm???
Well what is better to you? If your looking at how fast the car is as better then yes you could of purchased a faster car for that. Overall a GSR is a very good purchase. It offers that needed speed when you want it and gives you the needed economy for everyday traveling.
You wont see a mustang GT get the same gas mileage as an Acura. Pretty sure Hondas last the longest when it comes down to mileage as well.
So to answer your question theres always something different. Just depends on what your looking for. Not necessarily better. Since you already have the car with a 21k payment owed you probably wont be able to make the same amount back since its used now. So you will have to keep that car for a little while. If you want speed that car would be perfect to throw a turbo on. Keep it looking like a sleeper.

New Gsr great purchase it has combined speed and luxury in a sport coupe. Like someone said a couple post earlier just keep the car since uv already lost value from it leaving the dealer you would simply be throwing away $$. Instead of throwing away $$ throw it toward a turbo and you will be very happy with your gs-r

Ok like I said I'm not disappointed in my purchase, I just got to thinkin. But it does make me happy that I can beat my brother who has a 1998 Prelude with AEM CAI to me who's only mod I've done in the mouth and half I've had it is new red emblems (cause I bought the car with blue one's with 3700 miles) and OEM body kit. It must have been the body kit that made me beat him, uh yeah, but he was about 5 feet behind me, but I still won.

I'd figure out how to get a WRX
Even thou I have Honda pride, I'm gonna have to second that. My friends WRX is fast and thats not even a third of what I spent on bolts-ons and he's in the 13's.
Down payment on a house.
Right now I can't think of a new car I'd want and still be able to walk away from the dealer with for 21K though.
If the Miata or MR2 fall in that price range I'd do it.

Im surprised no one mentioned the SER. The sentra is quite capable with a 6 speed around that price range. Just my .02 Its a very nice car too..
yeah i would have said the E36 M3 but i was assuming he was lookin at new cars .. . the E46 M3 is like 50K+ damn = (... the M3 even in E36 trim is awesome
Ya the GSR is a great buy. The only other thing i would think about would be the Type R. And Honda/Acura life span is extreemly long Toyota's also have really long lfie spand. I would definatly not get a mustang GT. Crappy gass mikage and crappy life span. The new ones also just look really ugly. If your looking to get an american V8 get a camarow. The GSR is a great buy.
hmm.........if i had 21,000 cash. i woud get a hatchback, get a b17 motor build the hell out of it, get a t64 turbo kit and spray the hell out of it. i i had 21,000 loan i'd try to find a supra tt.
21g's put into investments...
then i'd use the money i made and buy something better
but your GSR was a good purchase. although personally i would have bought a used model with low km's and spend the money i saved on a turbo
