Default Saving power steering with H22 swap in an Eg hatch

is it in any way, shape, or form possible?

And as a sidde note, just how bad is it when the car doesn't have power steering?

Yes it is possible. Seen it done.
As a side note, steering without isnt that bad. Its only really bad around parking lots and stuff. Just mainly when you are barely moving.

Not having power steering isnt bad at all, little hard when the car isnt moving, but once you give it throttle you'll be alright.
