!!!AdifaB Top Mount manifold and 4" down pipe!!!
Folks,
This is a top mount manifold that I made, I bought the bends from McMaster got the flanges from Exploited Racing, cut it, measured it, welded it, ran it on my car.
Here is the full on and total description:
-Flanges: 1018 Cold Rolled Mild Steel 1/2" Thick CNC Precision Cut
-Head flange,Tial 40mm wastegate flange, T3 turbo flange (both the turbo and the wastegate flanges come pre threaded)
Piping: McMaster-Carr
-Schedule 40 304/304L bends and streights
The whole thing was tached with a mig welder with ss wire (thats what caused some of the chunks in the welds if you look in the pictures)
Welded with a miller 180 tig welder with ss wire. The welds were NOT backpurged because I just didn't have the equipment to do it with but I assure you that the welds are plenty strong. The collector on the maifold is about 6-6.5" tall and the pipes with the collector measoure in the 20"+ range.
I spent a dog load of time researching on how to build this thing the right way, no bends on this thing were cheated and all of the pipes and ports were ligned up right.
The wastegate pipe has a angle cut on it to eliminate boost spikes and it does just that, it held 11psi with a t3/t67 H.O turbo like a rock unlike some of the other ram horn desgns that would spike at low boost.
The manifold and turbo allowed me to run 139mph and low 11's in the 1/4 mile at 22psi, I hate to see this manifold go after all of the hours I have spent researching it and time I have put into it but I really need to get my motor fixed first before I worry about boosting the car again.
On to the 4" downpipe: The down pipe will only work with this manifold there for it must go with it and here is the rundown on that.
-Exploited Racing 4 bolt turbo flange 1018 cold rolled mild steel
-Burns Stainless 2.5"-4" Flare section in SS
-4" Stainless steel downpipe bends, tig welded with ss rod.
-1 02 sensor bung tig welded.
The downpipe clears the oilpan, and everything else under the car and stops right inderneeth the front firewall, great fit piping will never rust.
I'm taking offers on both right now because I don't know what to sell these parts for, these are NOT full race parts or any other big outfit parts this is something I took the time on and welede it to the best of my ability.. So I'm not asking for full-race prices here...
Let me know your offer and will go from there...
Here are a few other things about it.
There are no cracks and no leaks anywhere.
All of the flanges are streight and flat.
There are no dents in any of the pipes.
You will have to do a little cutting on your front radiator support to make it work but its nothing crazy and its not the end of the world.
$800 shipped for both the manifold, all bolts, studs, nuts and the downpipe this price includes the paypal fee. Or if you want just buy the manifold for $650 shipped

On to the pics!!!!!
