I just ripped everything out of my '87 Si yesterday afternoon between class, and I love it. I took out spare (have FixaFlat), jack, carpet, passengers seat, center console, and most tar/sound proofing. I plan on putting the other seat back in eventually, but right now I feel like I'm in a World Challenge car! Very cool. I suggest this to anyone who can live without carpet. I just used a screwdriver and hammer to chisel away at the tar and it wasn't as tedious as I thought it would be. When I pull a/c and replace sunroof panel I will have lost almost 100 lbs. for free!

 

Nice...I did the same to my HB about 6 months ago...ive had 5 civics and i dont think ive ever had back seats...heh. The single seat thing is cool...its like a completely different car. I love my gutted si!
