01 Accord Wheel stud help
Alright folks, Im new here. I have an 01 Accord that i use as my daily driver. (I have 2 older BMW's that are my toys) Anyway, i was replacing the front brake pads today and SNAP, a stud snapped right off as i was trying to get one of the lugs off. SO, i went to the stealer today and bought the replacement lug and stud. Now in the world of BMW's we have screw in studs, but the Accord seems to use press in studs. So, i need a DIY guide on how to replace this stud. Any help is good help! Will I have to remove the bearing and everything to get at the back of the hub? Can i replace this thing while the hub is still on the car? Im gonna do it tomorow morning, so, the faster the replies the better! Thanks in advance everyone!
Cheers,
Jonas

Me and my buddies took a hammer and knocked out the stud through the opening in the back. Then after that we put in the new stud, screwed on the lug nut, and then we impacted it on. Basically that pressed it on and it worked.
why not just go to a tire place and ask dem to do it for you...probably charge you like 5 bucks for the job. I remember my tire was flat and my stud broke, went to one of those small tire changing places (family owned) and they did for me.
what you do is get a piece of 2by4 and put it over the stud, with enough force(which could increased by anger, bitchy wife, beer, etc) the stud would just pop off.
when you putting the new stud in, put a piece of metal tube acting as spacer and use your lug nut to "pull" the seat of the stud back in, i wouldn't do it with the wheel on
