Yeah its the spoon strut, they come without markings so I put a spoon sticker on there !

Oh and I also have spoon Oil & Rad caps aswell as Spoon progressive springs. The intake is a GruppeM, the next mods when I get a bit of cash will be a Toda Manifold & Kpro, oh and I need to save up for a spoon baffled sump to prevent oil starvation when tracking the car hard.

If you look thru my Photobucket gallery you will also see pics of the car damaged as I spun out on the Nurburgring in June this year

Just damaged the front and rear bumpers all fixed now thou

Welcome to the forum!

Nice DC5 Unfortunately you won't find much if any about the DC5 here because most of us are in North America where the DC5 R is not imported. But we still have a pretty strong DC2 R following.

Enjoy your R and your stay.

Cheers

Its the same over here ! Honda UK will not oficially import the DC5, so we have to go thru unofficial importers that import second hand cars direct from Japan. At the moment i'd say there are still under 1000 DC5R's in the UK, 12 months back when I first got mine there were less than 200 ! The car became more popular when an independant team decided to use DC5's in the BTCC (British Touring Cars). They smashed the opposition and at the end of the season Matt Neal finished 1st overall and Dan Eaves came in Third !!!!

And that is the Spoon Strut brace, all my parts are 100% genuine and brand new, no ebay purchases here lol

Oh and dont even get me started about Skunk2 they now have a very VERY poor reputation in the UK, I had one of their Zorsts the thing didnt last 6 months and the baffles were completley nackered after the first month. not to mention the weight of the bloody thing and the fact that its too short for the DC5R and come in three parts

Rant over sorry guys but 95% of the DC5 and EP3 owners over here had exactly the same problem with little or no help from Skunk2 themselves.
