Default Spoon cluster, gas gauge no workie to well

For a while now my gas gauge has been pretty inaccurate. I kinda let it go for awhile but now that I've been driving the car a lot more, it's getting annoying. Anyway to fix that?

i had that problem, at first i thought it my sending unit but it wasnt, but long story short, it ended up being that green microfilm inside the cluster at fault

Either swap the green circuit board on the back or swap the gauges onto your stock cluster.

if that all fails and get intouch with spoon europe and see if they can have spoon fix it for you.

if not, your only other option is to fill your gas tank up to the top, remove needle from the spoon gauge, along with the spoon face plate for that gauge and replace that gauge with an integra one , then put the spoon face plate on this new gauge and put it back in the cluster itself , start the car up, then put the needle back on at the full level.

not too hard but can be made to work again.

what year is the cluster and what year is your itr? just swap out the green film from your current cluster and put it on the spoon.

The guage works but it goes to E very quickly, I'll put gas in the car and it will only take 10 bucks, so I know it's not empty. The cluster is a 98 I switched my backing to a 2001 and all the guages work but the gas gauge is just inaccurate.

Sounds like the fault is the gas gauge and not the actual installation of the cluster.

No not at all everything else works fine but the gas gauge. It doesn't dramatically go down, but its definetly noticeable.

I am have problems with my spoon cluster also. Its for a 98spec and my car is a 2000. The problem that I am having is the gas and temp guage do work, it will say I'm over heating and I have no gas. Also when I turn on the blinkers the tach needle and speedo goes up and down. Should I try switching over the green film, or so I swap the guages? Need help because I really like this cluster and I dont want to sell it cause I cant get it to work right!

I did notice it takes time for the temp gauge to reach operating temp, the needle will move very slowly. No problems with RPM gauge jumping when I use the blinkers or turn on the lights though.
