i just heard of the ariel atom for the first time about 2 months ago. i looked up tons of videos and stats on that thing, and man do i ever want one! they're so bad ***. only thing is their about as practical as a motorcycle, but cost a lot more. but still, i think they're very reasonably priced, i'm just a broke college student.

they really arent that reasonable they are like 35K pounds which i believe equals around 50-60K american. i mean for the performance it is dope but for that much money you you would have to be doing pretty well to be able to afford such an unpractical as that.
all that said, as soon as i get the money together im buying one. i live in the OC, i dont need to be practical.

And Newport Beach at that.. the most unpractical part of the OC. Seriously, go to Fashion Island shopping plaza on Sunday and see anything from Lamborghini's to Carrera GT's.
I'd love to see someone rock an Ariel up PCH

They're even less practical than a bike. It won't take luggage bags, or slice through rush-hour traffic, get you HOV access, or save you money when you park in the city. Plus you'd get dirty just driving it.
For a fun car, I'll take an Elise or NSX that one could drive in the rain.

what do u think i will be doing. if i ever do buy one i am planning on rolling it around looking for the little money boy in the ferraris, lambos, and the like and then dusting them. i figure i could race them to 100 for a bill or so. i ought to pay for the car in 18mo or so. as long as word didnt spread about it to all the little rich boys.

actually i dont remember saying anything about getting or having status. i was stating that it would be fun and possible profitable to race the unsuspecting rich boys in their porsche turbos, ferrari 360s and the like.
also i dont own a bike now but i have owned bikes and have been riding for more than 15 years so i would say that i know how to ride. also its pretty rare to find a guy in a car that will race a bike. it is pretty common knowledge that a street car wont hang with a bike.
and the attempted shot at me living in Newport, well i have lived here for like 2 years. i moved here from a ghetto area west of chicago after i sold my wrecked CRX and moved here with absolutely nothing. and as of now i still work 12 hours days at a manual labor job and i live week to week. so yea i will take joys in beating all the little rich boys that i see every ****** days driving around in **** that they havent earned buy they leetched off of their parents instead.
dont assume things about people because of where i live. in this case it only makes an *** out of you.

I got to sit in this at the USGP, I've been a longtime fan of this car. The old chassis did have the b16b ctr motor in it, I imagine the designer is a honda fan.

at the USGP at Indy or at Laguna.
i would imagine he is a fan of hondas engineering and innovation. plus the motor and supercharger combo would still be a relatively reliable option seeing that its a honda anything that would go wrong with the motor wouldnt be extremely pricey to fix.
