Anyone sand and prep their own car for paint? and even painted it themselves??

I know not exactly the right forum, but i posted in the apperance forum and got nothing.

 

Honestly if you want to prep it right. Get a body work book and read the whole thing. Then be prepared to spend a lot of time with everything. The painting part is easy.

 

Requires A LOT of sanding, wet sanding works best.

But honestly, let a paint shop do it cause taping off the windows and lights are a pain.
