I think you live in San Jose. Why are you running the 1/8th mile? Thats for east coast rednecks. I don't really have any other comments worth a ****.

9.9 isn't too good, especially for the mods you have, the worst part about running the 1/8 is that the race is over so quickly, a botched launch means everything is over. If your 60ft is less than a 2.1 then you need to launch that car harder. I only have an intake and exhaust with some suspension and I run 9.5s in the 1/8th. Post up what the 60fts were and the trap speed so we can help figure out what is going on. Also having a beat clutch won't help your cause.

What gear can you go through in the 1/8? I've never been to that short a track before.

i got a 9.9 out of my 91 rs(w/ 93 ls engine) with the rear interior removed and intake and header. but this was also on old steelies and a slipping clutch(stock 14 year old clutch).

what was your 60 ft? mine was 2.3....i couldnt get better due to the tires, they just wouldnt stay locked up.

also what was your trap speed?

maybe i'm reading this wrong, but don't you want your 60ft. times to be LOWER? unless if by "less" you mean slower.

Where is there a drag race track in San Jose? I would sure love to know where it is, the closest track I know of is Sac Raceway which is 2 hours away.

9.9 aint to good, it really is all about the 60 ft when your talking 1/8 mile runs. I have a b16 ek hatch and do

60ft- 2.221
1/8- 9.638
@ 74 mph

15.02 @91 mph in the 1/4

Oh sorry thought I posted my 60' (which was a 2.3 btw).

Oh and not all tracks start at .500 for R/T, SGMP starts at .000.
