VIS make some awesome stuff, stays shine and looks really good plus their fitment is perfect, no gap or anything but price is of course lil higher than others

I have a VIS CF hood on a 98 civic and fits perfect.
I see tons of companies that sell hood for dirt cheap and that about the way they fit...

If you can, stay away from VIS, from my time with then was bad, and I'll never go bad. I bought a kit from then , and the kit didnt fit, and they wouldnt take it back. if you can try somebody else out.

my seibon was a little more than VIS and i didn't want VIS because the 4 that are here at my house look like **** all are faded and one is developing cracks going from the windsheild squirters. I just wanted to try someone elses hood

i have VIS OEM style on all of my Eg's. They fit great. never had any issues with warping. had a few come in with hairline cracks in them but VIS has always replaced them. Seibon units are really nice but very expensive.... just my two cents..

I have yet to see a VIS hood have the same fitment as stock. All the ones I've see also backing supports (can't think of the technical name) pull apart from the rest of the hood. But a friend of mine has a Seibon one on his vw gli and it is absolutely PERFECT. It doesn't look even a tad bit off on any side, if it was painted to match his car you'd swear it was the stock hood.
