Car trouble help ASAP!!!!
Ok so im driving down the road and all of the sudden my starts to shake likes its in an earthquake. i pull over to the side and it stops. so i decide to drive again, and everythings fine but when i start to speed up some more it does it again. i had to drive 15+mph to get home. now before this started there was a noise coming from the passenger side wheel. its was making a loud knocking noise. i was told by a friend its possible a wheel bearing. is this correct? or is it the rotor bad? i help asap to get this fixed, i purchased the wheel bearing already but just want to make sure its that before i put it on. any help would be great

yes my lug nuts are tightend down, the axels are fine i just bought them. im just not sure if its a warped rotor or bad bearing. is there anyway to check the bearing itself without having to take the wheel assembly apart?
Just grab the wheel while it is jacked up at the 12 and 6 oclock/ 9 and 3 oclock positions and see if you feel any play in the hub, if so the bearings are bad. Another way to tell if your bearings are bad, the hub and wheel will be very hot from the increased friction from the bad bearing. Bad axle also causes vibration.
