Alignment and camber are off.
I really dont know anything about suspension systems and things like that. My car is a 98 prelude dropped about 2 inches. My camber and alignment are so off that my tires wear so unevenly that after about 6 months my tires are down to the threads on the inside. I heard that you cannot adjust the camber without a camber kit and in other places ive heard that you can. Can someone please clarify this for me because I want to have this fixed already since I have brand new tires on there.

ive gone to those general mechanic shops and they have all told me that in order to get alignment done on a lower car you need to go to a specialty shop???

No...they're just to lazy to put some boards under the rack ramps in order to get your car onto the rack. I go to TiresPlus...they have those in Florida?

you cant be serious lol...yea they have tireracks in sofla. Man i cant believe i have been lied to so many times lol. Also, what if i want to have the camber fixed, do i need a camber kit to do it?
theres nothing "broken" about your camber to fix.
but yes, to adjust camber, you need a kit of some sort. its not part of the factory adjustment, perhaps because it doesnt matter.... maybe?

Not TireRack..."TIRES PLUS" http://www.tiresplus.com/index_home.jsp
Some shops will not align lowered cars.
Some will but sometimes their rack is too tall and the cannot drive a lowered car onto it if its too low.
Some shops will charge you a normal alignment fee.
some shops will charge you more for a lowered car.
call around and ask

I went to a TiresPlus to get my alignment too. The mechanic that aligned my car was pretty stupid and told me to get new shocks to fix my camber but he set my toe straight so I was happy.
