Tips on removing intake manifold?
Alright I'm in the process of removing my intake manifold. I got the top bolts off, but the bottom bolts are harder than I expected. I can't get my ratchet up there in the tight space. Anyone who removed theirs have any tips on removing the bottom bolts? It's driving my crazy. Well I'm going to go eat lunch and tackle this problem when I'm not starving to death.
Lol you gonna have a wholeee lot of fun trying to remove those suckers. Try using a ratcheting wrench. Or just a regular wrench to get it off. G/l buddy. Oh ye there also another two 10mm bolt that hold the i.m. to the car. I suggest you get underneath the car and using a long extension plus a ratchet to get those sucker off also.
well on all the IM's i have done i can reach my hand and get off all the bolts but the last one without jacking up the car, sometimes i get lucky and am able to get the last one too, i stick my arm under from the driver side of the car w/ a ratchet and an extension, and thats it. the only other option is to jack up the car
