Is this worth buying
well i went to go look at a 2001 kawi zx9r and the owner wants 3500 for it. It has 12,000 miles on it and it sounds good, the problem is he said he was doing a wheelie down his street and two cars popped out of no where. soo he droped the front wheel but it was to late and he ended up going under an suv. soo the right side fairings are real scratched and cracked. the clip on snaped and and rear set broke. soo just looking for opinons on it. soo basically it is all cosmetic with the clip on and rear set. soo let me kno what you guuys think. thanks

Plastics are real expensive. Clip on are not too bad. And depending on the rear set, they can get expensive.
Consider how much it'd cost to get the bike to showroom condition from a professional. Then add the price of the bike. Is it worth it?

If the bike got wedged under the SUV then who knows what "unseen" damage there is.
I'd say spend another $1k and get sumthin that is bout the same aga but in one peice.
Even if ya took the $3.5k and used if for a down on sumthin (not necessarily new)would likely be a better bet.
My guess would be that you'd spend at least $1500-2000 repairing that bike and that is a conservative estimate assuming there were good used parts available.

incredibly not worth it.
Why spend ALL that money for something that's broken?!
You could spend that same amount and get a slightly older bike that works much better, or just find another 1000 and get something better.
