Hey HT,
I have been lost to the dark side(owning a muscle car) for quite a while now. I used to be all about hondas until I sold my integra. Im sure you all would notice my integ, after all HT guided me through my honda years. I was on the HT boards day and night over the past 3 years. Well I decided to get a 2002 black gt mustang .. has basic mods Intake Cat-Back Exhaust Full suspension contain sub frames, full coilovers, mm caster camber plates, 19 inch deep dish wheels, etcc Yes its pretty powerfull and rear wheels drive has its perks but the feeling was just not there. Well i got sick of the ford reallllll fast! Theres just something about hondas that i love. I currently attended the IDRC races at pomona with a friend and fell in love all over again. I cant wait to start my new integra project, I just cant decide what to do. The funniest part is that i would go on svtperformance forums and all they would do it trash talk on imports. I spent most of my time on those boards fighting w/ them regarding imports. Anyways just wana let ppl know that I am back and I will keep everyone up to date regarding my new integ.
This go around which set-up would you go with? Yes i understand that it depends on what kind of power goals and whatnot that i have, but im really open with this new project. Keep in mind daily driver !
- LS built and Turbo
- jdm GSR swap
- ITR swap
the old integra

will first tell you from experance that 200whp is hard to obtain and will be expensive and 200whp in a full weight intera will still be quite slow.
if you want a fast car just go boost
i highly sugest anyone that want a fast full weight daily driver integra to go turbo
if you have mound build a b seris vtec motor for boost
if you low on cash you can just go with a stock ls tubo. it will be way faster than a built 200whp all motor integra and ls long blocks only cost like $200-500 just in case it blows

Nice teg, I just bought my first teg.
Let me first say I live in trinidad ( west indies/ carribean) we are hudge second hand jdm purchasers. ( Hott JDM market here, R34's, alot of evo's, scoobies, and afew honda's.. not too many boosted.
I am also looking into a swap, I have owned some civics and fell for the B series. We have really shitty gas here 91? mebbie but its marked as 95... ping central. I need everything this tegs a base modle dc2? its jdm kinda weird but the best car ive owned to date. $$ is an issue I have atmost 3 K to buy it and get it down here, please point me in the right direction.

Thats a very nice Integra. Hondas are just more fun somehow. It "feels" faster, handles better (much) and just more likeable.
I drove a 2003 Mustang. (5 speed of course) Big *** V8, the 5.0L. I did not like it at all. The hood stuck up too far, it cornered and drove like a boat, it felt heaveir than it was, and the engine noise....loud, but it never ever shuts up. No quietness. Even with a ITR, at idle the engine is quiet. THis car sounded fast, but from the engine noise and screaming, it just felt like it should be even faster. I expected to be thrown in my seat with that power. I was, but not by much.
Driving a lot of cars, my car, my civic SEDAN, with 106bhp, is the most fun. I just like it. Its more fun, it just is. You dont NEED 600hp to have a blast on a summers day, all you need is the windows down (and the short ram intake is fun at times, hehe.)

I would never buy a mustang but a good friend of mine has one and that thing is a beast. 99 GT convertible, fast as hell, more TQ then I thought was humanly possible. Lots of fun to drive but I couldn't own one. Welcome back to the honda family.

i dont think you'll find a 5.0L under that hood. I think the newwer models are like 4.6 or 4.8. anyways i dont care, you are right about honda's bing way more fun to drive. i had the privlage to drive a brand new 04 supercharged saleen mustang off the lot w/ one mile and mess around for about 2 hours. now that was fun
