That was Brock Davidson and it was a nitous backfire through the airbox that shot the airbox inlet tube up into his arm (not a piston, there would have been alot of oil down real quick if itr was a piston).

Oh my finally. This video has been posted constantly for years, and everyone's always said it was a piston, but i never believed it possibly to have a piston leap straight up and hit him. Thank you for finally laying down the truth to this enormous repost.
