Default Diesel fuel in gas tank?????ASAP ASAP ASAP

A (not the smartest) friend of mine just called me from a gas station, he has a chevy lumina and he just pumped $2 worth of deisel into it. If he fills it up the rest of the way with gas will he be all right, or should he get a tow and syphon out the gas????? Thanks

the only problem he'll have is a bunch of white smoke coming out. depending on how saturated the dieslal fuel is in the tank.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Thanks for the advice guys, he ended up just filling it up and it drove fine.

A friend of mine who went to Wyo Tech told me that his professor said that by mixing a little of deisel with 92 octant gas would turn it into racing gas. So it should actually run stronger.

Not really sure tho. Just heard it.

Hahahaha...

I love this thread.

To be nice, I will tell you. The more octain you have, the less power you will make, you wanna run the lowest amount of octain possible (without detonation/knock) to get the best performance from your engine. Race fuel does not = more power for your 130whp beast.

If you mix Diesel in with fuel, it will not create race fuel, that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Diesel is like, 60 octain with a whole bunch of **** mixed in with it and it is actually heavier than normal fuel so it should actually burn first.

Correct me if I'm wrong here guys.
