Gauging interest in 1994 dc2 shell (theft recovery)
I am thinking about selling my long term project car....
I had a body shop purchase a 1994 DC2 chasis from the insurance auctions (iaai). It was a theft recovery and was missing almost all interior pieces, the engine, bumpers, headlights, and tail lights.
I have slowly purchased the tails, gaugecluster, airbags, front and back seats, ecu, front bumper, headlights, and stock corners.
Basically, all that is needed is an engine, rear spoiler, and ecu harness now. It also has to pass the Washington State patrol inspection if registering it here in Washington.
I also bought an AEM cold air intake, DC sports 4-1 headers, both of which are still in in their original boxes and have never been opened. I was planning on going all-motor.
I have a DC2 Mugen twinloop exhaust that (was on my turbocharged integra until I upgraded to a three inch exhuast) I was planning on putting it on this car- it still has the stock exhaust. I also have some brand new custom superlightweight cunningham rods that I was going to add some CP pistons to.
All in all I have about $4500 invested into this project so far ($2100 just for the -$1200-Mugen exhaust and $900 Cunningham rods combined).
I almost forgot- I also have unused Tanabe sustech pro coilovers over at a friends house. I think they were the 16 way adjustable ones....
I would really like to get close to what I have invested out of the car. Yes it is a lot of money....
I might be willing to just sell the shell and part out all the performance items one by one....
Let me know what you think is fair?
The car is the teal green color from 1994 with a power everything and a sunroof, so I believe it was a gsr....
I'd appreciate any input!
Thanks!

I think you would make more if you parted out the car. When you have a big chunk of money like that invested in an unfinished project it is real, real hard to make all of it back in a single sale.
