it can be fixed but will eventually end up cracking again...same thing happened to one of my buddies..fixed his weel 2 times and it cracked again both times

Another reason why I don't like buying old *** rims, especially from someone not local. Did he tell you it was damaged? Because I doubt something like that could possibly happen in shipping. If he didn't, thats shady as expletive.
