Help ASAP Please.

Could anyone tell me what causes that the rotor from the
distributor melts. I never heard such of thing before. Anyone
knows, Please. (D16A6)

if the rotor is melting the you are getting a constant connection from somewhere causing the metal in the rotor to heat up and melt it.
