Are nology wires just as good as spoon? Would i just be paying for the spoon name?

they are the same basic design (spoon vs nology). one is us high quality, the other is jdm high quality. i think they would work the same, but blue does look cool. i use ngk and magnacore kv85 myself, i don't think most wires can provide a difference felt by your butt.

yes the nologys are grounded also. i was dumb and spent almost 200 on a set of nologys once. and it was a waist of money. all u pay for is the name. i saw no improvement on the butt dyno. now i run NGK and they work great and are like 150 cheaper.

Agreed. Why waste 200 bucks on a name. Save the money for some real performance.

perfomance vs. appearance, its a hard choice. if you are a jdm freak, buy spoon. if you want something that makes you go faster, try other components. most ignition products make power because of deficiencies. use your money to fix what is broken (high resistance in ignition cables, out of spec coil or ignitor, worn plugs), then spend the rest on something that increases volumetric efficiency.

I, myself, use stock. Stock wires are awesome and I wouldn't use anything else. I've had nothing but problems with aftermarket ignition wires and I'll never buy them again.

Nology and Spoon wires suck ******** - I don't care what any of you tell me otherwise.

If individual grounds are so ******* amazing why doesn't Honda use them EVER?

Oh and because this comes up in every single plug wire topic let me make this clear:

NGK WIRES ARE NOT OE WIRES - THEY ARE SUMITOMO FOR ANY CIVIC/INTEGRA

Agreed. Ignition stuff helps improve response and a little power on cars with shitty ignition systems (cough.. GM), but Honda's systems are top notch. Seriously, most aftermarket wires are ALOT worse than your stock wires. Right now I'm using NGK blues (8mm or something) because they came with my swap and I know they aren't utter garbage.

Don't bother upgrading any ignition stuff unless you're making considerably more power than stock. There's just no point unless its broken or you just want a different color. Feel free to get whatever you want, but you won't notice a difference (even on a dyno).

If your car is so fast that the only thing you can do to it for $200 to make it faster is to buy ******* spark plug wires, then you should be on the news, not this website.
