how do people get there hood to stand strait up? do i need a diffrent hood stand

 

push it up till it stops. works for me

 

if you look along the right side of the hood [you're facing the front of the car] you will see holes where you can put the stand for making the hood vertical.

 

i have seen a few cars on here that the hood stands strait up with no hood prop.maybe some one knows what i am talking about and can post some pics

 

yeah the hood will balance straight up... but a lil breeze and it will come down on your head...

theres 3 holes on the hood lower right. two of them are for holding the hood at like a 45 degree angle(probably a lil bigger)

and the hole below it is for holding it at 90 degrees. (straight up)

 

make sure your not stressing the windshield, a buddy of mine used the vertical hood prop and make a nice crack in the windshield
