1998 ABP LS (Good find?)
Around two weeks ago my GS-R was hit and most likely will be totalled out, well yesterday while looking at a few cars I ran across a 98' Adriatic Blue Pearl integra LS. The car has just a hair over 71k on it and is immaculate inside and out. The carfax says that it was hit on the drivers side in 98 and hit on the passenger side in 2000. The dealer was very straighforard about the car and showed me what was replaced etc. The car is going for 8k and i'm thinking about picking it up tomorrow. Any thoughts or extra things that I should look at that I may have missed (damage, different colored bolts or any random pieces?)

Yep, not worth it especially if its been hit twice. It is a rare color though, I have one. I bought mine back in the beginning of 04, a 99 with 55k on it for $9k. So for a car with a lot more milage, thats older and has been in 2 accidents, I wouldn't pay nearly that much.

No the car doesn't have a salvaged title, sorry if I was unclear about that. The carfax report says "moderate damage," I was told that the only thing(s) that were really replaced were the fenders. The dealer which has one of those little small lots, purchased it from a well known acura dealership in the Atlanta area about two weeks ago, he also showed me papers on what the acura dealership did to prep the car for their lot. So the way I see it is, if it was good enough for acura to put on their lot it must not be too bad; I was just curious as to what all the great minds on H-T thought.
Thanks again, and all comments/thoughts are welcome.

its looks good man... but be careful.. all dealers will do that with you.. if they are good at what they do.. take it for a test drive if you can... look underneath the car.. and what not... all in all tho... it looks real good... good luck
Yea he let me take it out for a test drive the other day, felt weird driving a stock integra (forgot how they handle when riding like monster trucks). The ride was very very smooth, idle and acceleration were also very smooth clutch was firm and brakes were great. Motor checked out fine, although it had a ticking noise when it first started up but after the car warmed up it went away. My guess is that it was just a cold start. Aside from the car being hit twice there's nothing I can really find wrong with it, but I would really like for him to come down 1k on the price or at least $5-700.
*edit*
I have not looked underneath the car. Anything in particular I should look for when doing so?
Thanks in advance.
