Default 2003 honda accord

I need to replace 2 tires. The original tires on my car are 205/60 R15 91V. Very few local tire stores have this tire in stock. One store who does have the tire is recommending I purchase 215/55 (16?) 91V instead because he claims Honda is going to a 17 inch tire in the future and I will have an easier time finding 215/55 than a 205/60. Does this make sense? Should I switch tire size?

a 16" or 17" tire will simply not fit on your stock wheel. i have no idea what that guy is talking about, but your best bet is to just get the stock size (205/60/15)

205/60-15 is a common size. Find a different tire store, one that will help you choose the right tire for your car, not just what they happen to have in stock.

If you want to order from the Tire Rack, you can find one of their recommended installers in your area by clicking here.
