I recently swapped a 2000 engine into a 1996 Civic (both D16Y7 engines). Everything is working OK except for idle in Park. It idles fine when in gear, like at a stop, but when in Park the idle surges up and down constantly. Need help - thanks much!

Also, I should have mentioned that I'm using the entire intake setup from the 2000 engine. Maybe the computer in the '96 car has wrong program for 2000 sensors on the new engine??? I did find one extra small vacuum stub on the 2000 intake manifold that I blocked off. Could this be part of the trouble??
