hey guys what should I do? I can get a gsr motor(obd2) w/ everything except da harness and ecu w/ 50k on it for $900. I can get the rest after ... anywayz would it be better to swap it to an 94 LS or a 94 RS??? oh yea both is auto so i have to swap the tranny too...so which of the 2 would be better to swap it to? which would be more reilable and faster? and how much would you think it would cost to do a gsr motor & tranny swap in the shop? Well, it's practically the same car. The only difference are the options and the curb weight.
The RS is a bit lighter, no sunroof, no abs, and I believe no power options. It's good for a track car if that's what you're into.
The LS is alittle heavier but you get a few more bells and whistles. Better for daily driving and comfort...if that's what you're into.
Both are reliable, but if you want the most lightest, most "track friendly" platform then RS would be your choice.

nice stolen motor u have there </TD></TR></TABLE>
just because its cheap doesnt mean its stolen. good luck with the build, i would definitely go for the LS just for the comfort of power windows and locks and such.

THX elephantegra....just to set it straight, it's legit w/ papers so it aint stolen. Anywayz I don't have the cars YET! i was wondering which one because I always see LS and RS for sale...im leanig towards LS just because it'll be my daily driver and it would be nice to have all the power options and etc...
yeah, the rs only comes with power windows
power locks/sunroof, abs, cruise control, etc. is for the ls.
Rs is significantly lighter though.
you can get them down to be pretty light.. 2300 lbs area
