I just got an 01 EX Coupe from my parents and I hate the seats, are there any other stock honda seats that bolt directly into these cars?

I'd really like to put RSX-S leather seats in it if possible...

 

-rsx seats fit with modification to the bolt locations
-ep3 seats fit...i believe with modifications as well.
-any aftermarket seat with the correct bracket will fit

anything with the right bracket i guess...

i read some where that the ep3 seats sit higher then the stock EM2's.

 

wrong, they fit lower.

RSX-S seats need like 2 of the holes enlarged, but otherwise they bolted right into my car with some elbow grease.

 

I've got ep3 seats in my em2, 3 of the 4 bolts fit, the last had to be modified a bit, or if you want you can ride with 3/4 bolts in, but that is unsafe, You can also swap the rails and sliders from the em2 seats and bolt it to the ep3 seats


BTW : if you swap your seats out, make sure not to turn on the ignition if you haven't plugged the srs harness (the yellow and grey one) yet, because this will cause the srs light in your cluster light up. (Which is what i did :-/ )

 

ep3s do sit a little higher. i had them before i went to rsx-s leathers. the rsx seats sit lower and a touch farther back than the ep3s and em2s.

to get the ep3 and rsx seats to fit, you dont need to swap sliders. all you do is simply
bore the bolt hole out that is on the outter rear part of the slider about .25" downward. push down on the seat and bolt it up. done deal.

 

^thats exactly what i ended up doing with my rsx seats.
