Yes, the header has a 2.5" collector.
The inline four flange inlet is 3 inches, then shrinks to 2.5".. where it connects to the exhaust/cat. the reason the flange inlet is 3 inches, is so that it fits clean and snug OVER the 2.5" ITR header.

I chose to go with the ES muffler with the offset outlet. If you look at your stock eg muffler, the muffler inlet is in the middle, the outlet is offset... just like the ES I chose. If I had bought the ES with the centered inlets and outlets.. then the outlet rubs on the bumper. With this pic you can see the stock fit.

press bent (how they bend piping at your local muffler shop) versus mandrel bent (those smooth bends in aftermarket exhausts like rsr, hks, apex, blah blah).
Ive dyno'ed with both types.. and they dyno the same.
