are the Audiobahn AMD50 5.25" 300W Mid Bass Drivers any good do they really give bass and sound clear?

They're a MIDbass driver... They're designed for mid to upper bass frequencies. As far whether or not they "really give bass and sound clear", that's entirely dependent on tuning of your system (crossover settings etc) and what's powering them...

But a quick google search yielded prices of $19.95 a pair... As fcm says, "you get what you pay for"....

I don't think these will do what you're expecting them to do...

 

i used a 1000w rms alum1000 and it wasnt nearly as clear sounding or as deep as my kenwood kfc w3009.

i had 2 in my car.... i didnt like them... recently got rid of them for some JLs....

 

i had one 12" in a ported box and it definately did the job and more. sounded clean, hit hard. nnoone could tell it was an audiobahn so i give them . they're not the best but 75$ for a 12" is a steal
