But at least its blank with no name. So its better than rocking some lame Tenzo R, or APC, or Matrix seats, and others...
I would like some nice Bride seats myself, just cant see paying that much.

Ya..thats the dilema. Im a poor college kid. I know they arent half as cool as some slick jdm recaros..but at least they look the same.

Are you guys saying soley because theyre knockoffs or because you know that theyre actually pieces of ****??? Cause if theyre even somewhat comfortable..id be more than willing to pay around a grand less for seats.

probably the same ones that are sold on egay all the time. Beware of the "universal slider" they are usually pieces of **** and have no easy way to install them. Use grade 8 or better bolts since they usually come with grade 3 or less.

I dunno about those... look for the seats made by NRG. Much better quality, and cheap too.

those things will hurt your *** and your back....the padding is hard as a rock.....the seats are not very supportive, they dont hold you in like real recaros.....the cloth material royally sucks ***.....you definitely get what you pay for

i've had a set of these and totally regret spending the money on them.....now i got some real recaro srd's and it was a huge dramatic improvement over those

Was it worth the extra $1000? I'd hope so.

of course it was worth the extra money.....i'd rather spend the extra money to sit comfortably rather than be cheap just to have a seat

The fabric is in no way even close to the quality of the real deal seats. The padding loses its elasticity faster so they'll just stay compressed. The bottom springs will also wear out faster, leading to sags. And speaking of the seat bottom, they aren't engineered to prevent "submarining" in a frontal collision. The frame nor the reclining mechanism isn't engineered for strength so they'll buckle in a rear end or side impact collision. Better off sticking to stock if cost is your concern.

i work at a company that makes seating for cars, vans, and aircraft. most of these seats come from the same area in china. the raw materials are shady and unsafe at best. if your seat is not even slide tested (simulated crash), you are basically saying your life is worth 299 a pair. think about it...the looks vs the reality. recaros are not all that omg, but if you get in a collision, i promise you will be safer than in those cheap seats. anyone can fab a frame, put foam on it and pull some cloth. its your choice what you want.

Uh, it ain't no secret that OEM seats are engineered to work in tandem with other SRS systems of the car not to mention meeting and/or exceeding many international safety regulations.
