Default RSX type S clutch problemos

friends rsx (i believe it's an '04 if that matters) shifts into gear but it's like the clutch won't release or something..
he said he was in 6th gear and he was up to 7000rpm's, let he was only driving 40mph, wtf?

anyone else had this problem?

haha never again.
i have a 6 puck sprung hub clutch specialties on my gsr with boltons and it's way overkill. the engagement is crazy..and you always have to revmatch when you downshift otherwise the engagement is almost violent. it also squeels on 1st gear take off's most of the time.
i used to have a lightened flywheel with it but i switched back to an itr flywheel cuz the engagement plus the light flywheel was just ridiculous.
also, i switched to an itr tranny, and the LSD calmed down the clutch chatter for a bit..but i still get clutch chatter and it's annoying.

when i get extra money i'm gonna get a clutchmasters stg3. full face kevlar i believe.

Does the RSX Type-S come with a 4-puck or organic style clutch? Whats the best balance between performace and drivability... organic / kevlar/ ceramic? My clutch gives some chatter sometimes so I'm looking at other options.

For bolt ons, an organic is awesome. My friend as one and he loves it, I believe most companies consider them Stage 1.

organic.

try a segmented kevlar disc.

clutchmaster's stg3 or action 1ks.
release is like stock, grab is good.
