Default double din H/U in a 96 civic using the 99-00 bezel? what else do i need?

What do I need other then the 99-00 double din bezel to make a double din headunit fit in my 96 civic? is there brackets or something back there that are different then my stock ones? I'm not much of a stereo guy, I don't know about these things. Thanks in advance guys.

Are you going through the trouble (and expense) to do the 99+ heater unit conversion? I'm sure you know that the 99+ heater controls are electronic, whereas the 96-98's are cable...

no, I don't have a heater or airconditioning in the car anymore anyway. I am putting an in car PC in the car to tune with and it has a double din configureation.

then it should be easy, all the oem HU and panel mounting brackets are mounted to the 99-00 radio/heater control panel, and come out with the panel when it is removed from the car.

This may help http://www.installdr.com/Insta...5.pdf 94
