if you have a 26mm mugen rear sway (as i do). i would say yes and its a must. if you have an ek, i would definitely use it no matter what size sway bar you want to use. if your car is a circuit car i would suggest it as a must aswell.

but if your like the norm who has a 23mm jdm type r rear sway, and you have an eg or dc2, and its a daily driver, weekend mountain trips, you can safely use the BSQ kit without worries of subframe damage.

ASR will be the best money you can spend on. as far as i know, any rear sway bar size over 19mm will tear up your civic/integra (non type-r) subframe apart, i have experienced that myself.
if you think about it, that's why skunk2 no longer carry their 21mm rear sway bar, and blox is dumping their 21mm inventory as well.

here is a pic of asr kit on my integra:

K-Sport Coilover
OmniPower LCA
USDM ITR 22mm Sway Bar
ASR Reinforcement Kit
