I'm listing my 2005 "Rapid Red" Yamaha YZF-R6 for sale.

I am the original owner and have taken meticulous care of this bike. I followed a strict break-in regime and the motor is in perfect shape.

The oil and filter were changed using an OEM filter and Yamalube at
100, 500, 1000 and 3000 miles. So this bike is already on it's 5th filter and oil set.

This bike has never been dropped, drag-raced, twistiez-raced! and certainly never ridden cold. The bike is warmed to at least 165 deg before every ride. The bike is always on both stands when not being ridden. This has been a secondary leisure vehicle and it shows.

I have made some minor mods, some of which are staying on the bike, some of which can stay depending on the selling price.

Staying with the bike are:

(Stock Taillight + Blinkers can be included as well)

A.I.S. System removed
License Plate holder and rear external signals removed
Many small decals removed
I'm sure there are other small changes I'm forgetting.

In addition, the following will be removed unless wanted for additional cost:

Two Brothers Racing Slip-On Exhaust - C2 Highmount Alum. Can with custom M2 vale tip (I'm not a fan of the limp dick exhaust tip look)

Scotts/Ohlins Steering Damper

Zero Gravity Smoked Double Bubble Windscreen


This bike is in perfect shape, I'm selling it purely for financial/personal reasons right now. New after tax this bike is over $9000, also this bike was purchased in MA and I have a MA title so there is no emissions equipment on the bike. In addition to the $9k purchase price this bike has the best tires on the market ($275 mounted), frame and swingarm sliders ($75), CA Taillight ($100). Totaling ~$9450.

That's on macro, notice the size of the key? That's about 1cm... I'm sure plenty of people ride to the edge of the tire on neighborhood roads but I'm not one of them. This bike has never seen caynons or a track
