Rear brake question
I just installed a new set of calipers on my car as well as new pads in the rear. However I am now hearing a loud clunkity noise anytime I ride over bump coming from inside my rear driver's side tire. I checked all the bolts on the caliper and the sliders and they are all tight.....however if I take my hand and wiggle the caliper back and forth it seems loose? Is it possible th pads are loosed inside the caliper and moving around making noise when I go over bumps? I hate these little things which irrate me when I can't find out the disturbance. I was also thinking that maybe the caliper is bad since it is a reman....maybe piston is not coming out and leaving a gap causing the pads to bounce off the rotor.
Hey guys anyone have this experience or know what might be cuasing the noise? I also checked everything else within reach, shocks, springs, sway bar, etc....nothing loose but can shift the caliper back and forth a little?? Any thougths are appreciated.
Thanks.
