will bad grounds kill electrics in dizzy?
I just got the engine in my 92 civic running, ran fine in shop, drove out onto road and it killed. Pushed it back into shop and had no spark. 3 hours later discovered big voltage drop from pos on batt to engine block. Added more grounds, (I only had the one on the valve cover), that got rid of the voltage drop, still had no spark. Swapped in a different dizzy and it runs and drives great now. Did the lack of good grounds kill the original dizzy? If so what parts does it kill in it so I can fix the dizzy I took out?
i suppose it could be the grounds.
i know bad AMP grounds can kill them so my impression would be it would do it to other things as well if they arent grounded as well. it coulda had a surge or something go through it with the bad ground as well.
