Default Y8 in 93 cx ecu help!!!!!!!!!!!!

im swappin out my D15 for a D16y8 and i dont have a P28 ecu. so... if i wire it up to my current ecu how wil that run until i get a p28 or if i just get a vtec controller to run vtec would that be fine with my current ecu??? or should i just get a P28 and be done with it?

if anyone has info on this please let me know!!

Also if anyone has a p28 ecu or vtec controller(apexi only) please feel free to let me know

Just get a P28. Don't cheap out when it comes to engine management.
