Default Power Door Lock Problem 98 Accord

my 98 accord power door locks are not workign with the remote or the door switch. when i manually lock the doors and i press the remote key to open, it opens the drivers door, but when i press again to open the other doors, it does not work. when i now press the lock button on the remote to lock the doors it does not lock at all! i checked the fuse on the passenger side, and it is ok. is there another fuse for this? also where is the factory alarm module for this car is?

Unless you've got one of them-there solar powered keyless remotes, I'd replace the hearing aid battery that powers that thing; and let us know what the responce was. These are pretty simplistic, and don't have a lot of whistles and bells to program.
Try a new battery first.

Same thing happened to my 98 acoord sedan, best buy installed a viper security system and after about 9 months the right side doesnt seem to respond to the unlock/lock button. I took it the the install bay and they told me that it was the power door lock itself not the secuity module, as they only hook up two wires. They also told me to replace door lock motor in the door panel. You can try http://www.hondapartsdeals.com/ they quoted me 29.37 front actuator/54.05 rear.

I got got the problem solved, i pulled down the dash where the fuse box is for the door lock, and module for the pwr locks was behind it, i took it out for 1 min and placed it back, that solved the problem and all it need was to be reset. so if any of you have a problem like that, just reset the module.

well when you take out the glove box and the pannel under that, you will see a green connector, which is connected to a blue box. that blue box is the module. there are four clips one each corner, open them and lift the module up.
